OBJECTIVES

The requirement is that the LiH attenuators should provide a reduction of the neutron flux, depending on  neutrons energy,  by a factor ranging from 104 for low energy neutrons to 102 for rapid neutrons.

I. Specific Objectives - INOE 2000

Manufacture of LiH neutron attenuators

II. Results:

LiH neutron attenuators

Neutron attenuators inside the transport/storage protection boxes

Neutron attenuation factors
